A member of Redruth Sea Angling Association has landed a new Cornish record after hauling in a 16lbs 8ozs bass.
Kevin Eddy beats he previous record set in 2001 by over two and a half pounds.
Kevin was fishing a local north coast beach on the Camborne open Bass competition when he caught his record fish.
Other members of the Reduth club have also landed club record fish during the past month, with a Spanish Mackerel weighing1lbs 5ozs by and Golden Grey Mullet weighing 2lbs 8ozs caught by Brian Collick, and a new boat record Brill of 7lbs 14ozs, caught by Chris Wills.
