Fears for Camborne man as coat and phone found at cliffs

The discovery of a missing Camborne man's jacket and mobile phone at a Cornish cliff has sparked serious concerns for his welfare.
Police say that at around midday on Wednesday, (September 11) they were informed by HM Coastguard that a member of the public had found a jacket and mobile phone near to the cliff edge at Deadmans Cove, North Cliffs, near Camborne.
Adding : "Officers began an investigation and they have identified that the property belongs to a man named John Menzel aged 40".
"Extensive searches by the Police, Coastguard and rescue groups have not yet located Mr Menzel and there are serious concerns for his welfare.
Mr Menzel had been living locally and his family have been informed of his disappearance.
