Rosewarne Manor has received gold in this year’s Taste of the West’s Hospitality and Retail Awards.

The restaurant at Connor Downs, between Camborne and Hayle, was recognised by the independent regional food group that recognises the best produce in the south west.

Owner Cyril Eustice said: “This is a great result for us. We are so passionate about using quality ingredients from local suppliers and this award recognises that. We are so pleased.”

It is the latest plaudit this year for the restaurant, which has also received two AA rosettes, the first five-star platinum environmental health award of its kind and a shortlisting in Cornish Brides’ wedding venue of the year competition.

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday throughout the year for lunch and dinner, also catering for private functions on Mondays and Tuesdays.
