Police have released CCTV image of a man and woman they wish to speak to in connection with a series of shoplifting offences at Superdrug stores in Cornwall.

The offences first took place in Penzance on August 14, before the suspects are then thought to have headed to Falmouth and Redruth on the same day.

On August 19 stores in Newquay, St Austell, Bodmin, Launceston and Plympton were targeted before the Saltash store was visited by the alleged offenders on August 20.

In all cases the suspects stole cosmetics (mainly L’Oreal brand) from the shops. In total officers believe around £5,000 worth of cosmetics were stolen.

The offenders are described as a man and woman of Asian appearance in their late 20's to 30's in age. The man is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches in height, with dark short hair, medium build. The woman is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches in height, of slim build, with dark long hair in pony tail and carrying a big black handbag.
