Super support for King Charles School fair: PICTURES

King Charles Primary in Falmouth welcomed crowds of well wishing parents and kids at the school field on Saturday for a “start of term” fair.
With tables groaning under plates of tasty cakes and buns, and plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks on offer, the event saw kids enjoy a raft of fun, and help raise funds for the school.
Alongside stalls selling books, games and crafts, there was a coconut shy, two bouncy castles, a chance to beat the goalie and even a way for kids to get their own back on teachers at the chuck a wet sponge stall.
The event was organised by the schools PTA, Parents in Partnership, and organisers say the real community spirit and love for the school shone through.
Martha Dixon from PIP said: “It was a record breaking fair, with £2,200 raised for the school, but the most amazing thing was the incredible support for the school.
“There were so many people who came forward to help and run stalls, you could really feel the love for the school.
“It was a really positive way for people to show their support and to show how happy the children are at the school.”
She added that such was the success of the event that when parents, teachers and pupils arrived at school on Monday morning everyone was still smiling.
