Pictures of naked male body parts, which a St Allen man sent to the woman who managed the tenancy of his home, left her feeling disgusted and sick Truro magistrates heard.
Ian Leslie Dudgeon, 47, living on a farm at St Allen, Truro, also sent her 40 text messages within 24 hours, some of which were also of a sexual nature.
Dudgeon pleaded guilty to harassing Janice Smith by texting and picture messages on October 10.
He also pleaded guilty to a similar offence against his former partner Lisa Somes and to breaching a bail condition by contacting her.
Jill Wilson, for the CPS, said Ms Somes contacted the police because she said Dudgeon had told her he was going to commit suicide. Between September 16-22 she had received 100 texts from him. She had only known him for two months when the messages began to arrive, being strange and abusive, one asking her to taste the blood on his wrist, and another saying: “I’ll f….cut your f….throat”.
Interviewed by the police Dudgeon said he had been drinking two litres of vodka a day and had been in an alcohol blackout, not remembering sending messages or texts.
He breached bail by sending 50 texts and 30 calls to Ms Somes.
Ms Wilson said he had a police caution in November last year for sending offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing messages from 999 calls and another for harassment.
His solicitor Paul Gallagher said what he had sent were alcoholic ramblings and he had no recollection of doing it. He was getting help and awaiting rehabilitation. He had made various attempts at suicide and desperately wanted psychiatric help.
Dudgeon was sent to prison for 12 weeks and restraining orders were made preventing him from contacting either of his two victims or going to their addresses.
