Phillip Moon, aged 24, from Camborne has been charged with three counts of theft and one count of robbery.

The charges relate to offences at Tesco in Pool on October 10, Co-op Redruth on September 17, a robbery in Illogan on August 20 and a theft from Porthtowan Village Store on September 27.

The robbery at a shop in Illogan relates to an incident at around 11.45am on Tuesday, August 20, at the Cornish Oven Pasty shop in the centre of the town.

A man entered the shop wearing a hankerchief over his mouth, threatened a female member of staff and demanded cash.

Around £100 was handed over to the man who then left the scene.
