Cornwall may sometimes be referred to as the wild west, but staff at Asda Penryn took this literally last week when they dressed up for a fundraising fancy dress day.

This led to cowboys serving behind the checkouts, Red Indians helping customers and saloon dancers stacking shelves, all to raise money for Tickled Pink.

This jointly supports Breast Cancer Research and Breast Cancer Care. Already this year staff have raised £5,000 for the cause through a variety of events and activities, including a walk with the Falmouth and District Hoteliers’ Association and a barbecue at Penryn Football Club – and this time they voted for a wild west themed dress up day.
