Man accused kidnapping woman on Pendennis Point in Falmouth
A 41-year-old man has appeared at Truro Magistrates Court in Truro accused of kidnapping a woman at Pendennis Point.
The alleged kidnapping was said to have taken place at the Falmouth landmark on Monday.
James Alexander Campbell, of no fixed address, is charged with kidnapping a woman against her will, kidnapping her with intent to commit a sexual offence, falsely imprisoning her, and carrying an offensive weapon, a pen knife.
The case was adjourned to Truro Crown Court on November 27 and the defendant was remanded in custody until then.
