Pudsey Bear will visit Tehidy Road in Camborne to cut the ribbon at the newly modernised Post Office.

Subpostmaster Barbara Beach will host, with regional network manager Will Russell, when Pudsey visits the branch at 10.30am on November 14, as part of his busy schedule ahead of Children In Need on November 15.

As part of the celebrations customers will be invited to join the BearFaced campaign.  Supported by famous faces including Arlene Phillips, Alex Jones and Laura Whitmore, the campaign is encouraging women to get sponsored to swap their make-up for a temporary pawprint tattoo from the Post Office.

Tehidy Road is one of over 10,000 Post Office branches selling the temporary pawprint tattoos with all proceeds going to Children In Need.

It was recently modernised and now provides customers with a modern retail environment and extended opening hours.

As part of plans to modernise the network, Tehidy Road Post Office now has three serving positions a mixture of two screened and one open plan counter position.

Opening hours at the branch have been extended and are now Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm.  This is an increase of 11 hours a week with the branch opening earlier and closing later each day, including Saturday afternoons.
