Police suspect that an arsonist was behind three car fires in a Cornish village over the weekend.
Fire crews were called out to Symons Close, Blackwater at 1:47am on Saturday morning after several reports of two cars on fire.
Firefighters on appliances from Redruth and Camborne found the two cars "well alight" when they arrived, with breathing apparatus and high pressure hosereels used to extinguish the fires.
Firefighters were called back to Blackwater on Saturday night at 9.28 after a further report of a car on fire.
Arson was suspected, with Devon & Cornwall Police making further enquiries.
