Truro based Robinson Reed Layton and its sister firm DCN & Co Limited have between them have appointed four new members of staff to join their busy accountancy firms and promoted another from within. Three of the young recruits are from Redruth. Cheyenne O’Leary and Shannon Cook, who are only 17, join the team after completing their GCSEs at Redruth and Pool Schools respectively; and Kelly Reed, 18, joins the team after achieving her A-Levels at Truro College.

Cheyenne, a new AAT student, is thrilled to be in her new accountancy role saying: “I chose to work at Robinson Reed Layton as I have always had a passion for numbers.”

Kelly, another new AAT student is enjoying working within the firm’s team saying: “I am settling in well as everyone is extremely friendly and I already feel part of the team.”

Robinson Reed Layton has also appointed Ben Rance, 23, from Carnon Downs as a chartered student, and promoted Carole Thomas, from Hayle, to manager, one of her responsibilities being the Sage team.
