The former Lidl supermarket site in Camborne is going under the auctioneer's hammer with a guide price of £125,000 to £175,000.

The former food store and its grounds is among 28 lots listed for sale by Clive Emson, regional land and property auctioneers, next month.

The site, which is vacant, is on a 2.81 acre (1.13 hectare) plot in North Roskear Road and offers development potential subject to the necessary consents being obtained.

Katie Semmens, senior auction valuer, said: “This is a Christmas cracker of a lot. We anticipate keen interest, given the size, location and potential of this building.

“There are a range of single and two storey buildings which offer a range of potential for variety of uses. The site in its entirety also offers great potential.

“We are expecting keen interest from owner-occupiers investors and developers placing it at the top of their shopping list for Christmas.

“But clearly with the size of the site it represents the opportunity for a comprehensive re-development scheme subject to all of the necessary consents being obtained.”

Starting at 11am, the auction takes place at the St Mellion International Resort, St Mellion, on December 17.
