Friends of Falmouth Health Centre held a Christmas fair at the Trevaylor Road centre this weekend.
The charity event had a bric-a-brac stall, tombola, bottle stall, and raffle, to raise funds for additional equipment for the health centre.
June Hingley-Hickson, chairman of the group, said: “There were fewer people than last year but those who attended seemed very pleased with all that we had for sale, so it was a success.”
The group has provided the surgery with updated defibrillators, heart monitors, screening machines, and most recently an INR machine for patients on warfarin.
Mrs Hingley-Hickson said: “I would like to give my committee’s thanks to all those who helped us on Saturday and if anyone would like to join our committee they would be warmly welcomed.”
