Christmas produce will all wrapped up in one place next Friday (December 13) when Camborne hosts is annual festive market.

From 9am until 6.30pm Commercial Square will be filled with stalls bursting with ideas for gift-giving, decorations for the home and all the right ingredients for Christmas dinner.

Visitors are encouraged to stay for carols, face painting and a visit from Father Christmas at 4pm.

Kehelland Trust will be there with their own Christmas trees, grown just two miles away, along with their home grown vegetables, eggs, honey and plants.

Farm Flowers will be selling Christmas wreaths and winter garlands made from natural materials – willow, moss, twigs and various types of foliage and decorated with seed heads, cones and other woodland and hedgerow finds – Cornish Confectionery bring their taffy, fudge and other sweets, while Christmas fruit cakes and mince pies will be provided by Celtic Collection through their gluten-free baking.

There will also be a range of other foodie favourites, plus hand-crafted items for sale including cards, Christmas bunting, reindeer, stuffed toys, knitted blankets and decorations.

Raffle tickets will be available to win a hamper of market produce to raise funds for Camborne Foodbank.

Pupils from Kehelland Village School and Trevithick Academy will sing from 1.30pm until 3pm, then Father Christmas arrive at 4pm with free toys for children.
