Nearly 100 years of history will go under the hammer on Thursday as the Falmouth Women's Institute building on Webber Street is auctioned.
The grade II listed building will be sold by Westcountry Property Auctions in Exeter on Thursday, December 12 and is listed with a guide price of £150,000 to £200,000.
The selling agent, Stratton Creber, describe it as a vacant substantial two storey building located in the town centre of Falmouth.
Adding it is a "rare opportunity to acquire a substantial and extremely versatile two storey, imposing town centre building, offering tremendous potential subject to any requisite consents for a variety of uses.
The building has been home to the Falmouth Women's Institute (WI) group for close to a century.
The auction will be held at The Sandy Park Conference Centre, Exeter, EX2 7NN on December 12 at 1.00pm
