Helston firefighters tackle van fire on Redruth Road
Helston firefighters were called out to Redruth Road this morning after a report of a van on fire.
The crew used two breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
An ambulance was requested for a male casualty who had suffered the effects of smoke inhalation.
A spokesman said he was checked over at the scene by paramedics and allowed to remain with the vehicle.
