Falmouth's MP welcomes high street business rates cut
MP Sarah Newton has welcomed the Chancellor’s announcement of a £1,000 business rates discount for Cornwall’s high street businesses.
In his autumn statement George Osborne announced that businesses with a rateable value up to £50,000 will receive a business rates discount worth £1,000.
Mrs Newton said: “The discount will be a real help to business across my constituency, helping them to continue to provide the services and goods we cherish.
