Work starts on Hayle South Quay development
Work has started on the £30m development of South Quay in Hayle.
A supermarket, homes, a restaurant and a retail unit will be built at the site, with a new pedestrian bridge, flood defences and promenades also to be built.
The site is owned by ING Real Estate, who say the supermarket is set to open in late 2014.
