Mylor Yacht Club has had another great turnout for this year's pantomime, Robinson Cruise Oh.

Audiences watched the tale of the Cruise family unfold, as they enlist the help of the royal navy and brave bungling pirates and hungry cannibals to recover their lost father's stolen treasure map.

Sue Rosevear, prompter for the pantomime, said it was a polished performance that was very well received, and gave especial thanks to script writer Roger Taylor and producer Bernie Bagley.

She said: “Once again Mylor Yacht Club has come up trumps with costumes, backcloths, props, call girls, tickets, posters, programmes, music, lighting, make up and sounds.”

“Thanks to everyone whose efforts have enabled £1,000 to be donated to the Helford River Sea Scouts and £1,000 to Coast Medic towards the cost of installing defibrillators in every harbour.”
