Primary schools are reminding parents that they have less than a month to apply for places for children that are set to start school in September 2014.
The deadline for applications for children born between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010 is January 15 2014.
Parents are also reminded that applications for infant school places must be made even if a child already has an early years or nursery school place.
