Helston Farmers’ Market is holding its annual Christmas food market this Saturday – the last one until February.
There will be 30 stalls set up in the Old Cattle Market hall, next to Coronation Lake, between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
A variety of local produce will help fill dinner tables this Christmas, with everything from wild game to award-winning pork and beef, fresh bread, hand-tempered chocolate, cakes and artisan cheeses on offer, plus locally brewed beer, cider and apple juice, smoked fish, eggs and olives.
There will be a raffle on the day featuring fresh food from the market. Tickets cost 50p each and the hamper will be delivered to the winner at the end of the |market. All proceeds will go to support the market.
With a break in January, the next market will take place on Saturday, February 1 and then the first Saturday of each month for the rest of the year.
The market is organised by South Kerrier Alliance.
