Mullion Football Club was on the ball when it hosted the third annual children’s Christmas party at the clubhouse.

There was plenty of Christmas cheer as local children got to meet Santa at his grotto, and all received a present and plenty of sweets.

That energy was needed, as a disco played Christmas songs until 10.30pm.

Organiser Carolyn Norton said she was pleased with how the evening turned out and the activities that took place.

She said: “With the children meeting Santa and getting a gift and a candy cane sweet, it was a lovely evening.

“We had a lucky dip and Christmas buns on sale, which went down really well. Everyone who attended said they really enjoyed the event.”

The kids were kept entertained throughout the night with lots of different treats, including the musical entertainment from Proper Job Disco.

Mrs Norton added: “As always it was excellent.”

The club is now hard at work organising the next event, a New Year party.

The next children’s event will be at Easter, when a disco and Easter bonnet competition will take place.
