Three of Helston Town Council’s committees will have new members following the resignation of Lloyd Harris.
His departure means Ronnie Williams will join the amenities committee, Mark Upton will take up the seat on the play and young people committee and Gillian Geer is now on the planning committee, after winning a vote against Justine Hornsby.
All committee membership lasts until the council’s annual meeting next spring.
Mr Harris was thanked for his service by mayor Jonathan Radford-Gaby, who added: “We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
