Heartless thieves stole a large sum of charity cash from a shop in Camborne just four days before Christmas.
Police are now appealing for information following the burglary at the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust charity shop in Trelowarren Street on Saturday, December 21.
Officers believe the thieves may have entered during opening hours and then hidden inside until staff left at the end of the day.
A large sum of money, raised by the charity through public donations, was stolen from the safe together with a CCTV recording server.
It is thought the crime was carried out between 3pm and 6.15pm that day.
The floor to the shop had been recently painted and the thieves could have ended up with yellow coloured paint on their shoes or clothes.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw someone with yellow paint on them, or with any other information about the burglary, to contact them on 101 quoting police reference AC/13/5408 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 / report online at www.Crimestoppers-uk.org
