Firefighters were called to Mead Way, Saltash this morning after a roof was blown from a building.
A 999 call was received from a home just after 11am after it sustained "substantial roof damage after sheeting from an adjacent farm building had blown onto the bungalow".
A fire service spokesman said: "Initially one appliance with five firefighters from Saltash were mobilised, soon after arriving on scene a second appliance was requested to assist – a further four firefighters from Saltash was mobilised.
"The building involved measured 30 x 10 metres and comprised of two semi-detached bungalows – both had sustained roof damage and there was a possibility of further damage from adjacent roof sheeting.
"Fire crews used salvage sheets with general purpose lines, a roof ladder and short extension ladder to help secure the roof.
