Businesses in Cornwall can now apply for a grant to support sustainable travel to work.
The funding is part of a bid to "reduce congestion and pollution, encourage the use of alternative travel and public transport whilst promoting health, exercise and a better work-life balance", according to Cornwall Council.
The council will be working with employers in Cornwall by helping with equipment and facilities that encourage sustainable travel, and to develop workplace travel plans.
A travel plan is specifically designed to meet the transport needs of an individual company, its employees and visitors.
Specific measures can include car sharing, cycle parking facilities, user friendly bus timetables, car share schemes, working from home and promotion and awareness-raising with employees.
Match funding of up to 75 per cent is being offered for facilities and equipment such as cycle shelters, car share parking spaces and more.
The next opportunity to apply runs until February 28.
