Firefighters were called to Cheesewring Quarry, Liskeard, yesterday evening after a report of a person with their leg trapped between rocks.
One appliance from Liskeard, a 4x4 from Callington and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised at 5.30pm.
The person had slipped on rocks and had become wedged, with crews working with police and ambulance staff to release the casualty from the rocks.
