One woman had to be treated by paramedics after a three crashes on the A30 yesterday evening.

Firefighters with crash rescue equipment were called to the road just north of the A30 junction at near Bolventor, Bodmin at 7.20pm.

A total of 25 firefighters in four appliances from Bodmin and Launceston were mobilised to the incident.

When crews arrived they found that there had been three single vehicle road traffic collisions all within half of a mile of each other, two on the north bound carriageway and one south bound

A spokesman said itwas believed that the weather may have attributed to the accidents.

No persons were trapped in any of the vehicles, Ambulance paramedics treated one female casualty and fire crews made the vehicles safe before leaving the scene.
