The A393 in Ponsanooth has reopened following a crash involving an overturned car at Pelean Cross this morning.
A woman is being treated for injuries after being cut free from an overturned car on the A393 near Ponsanooth.
The road was closed in both directions after the car overturned at Pelean Cross.
Police say there is no update on the woman's injuries at this time - but she is receiving treatment at hospital.
Police were called at 11.22 am with a woman in need of ambulance treatment after being cut out of the vehicle by firefighters.
A spokesperson said: "Fire and ambulance were called, she's been cut out, and the road was totally blocked."
There was a road closure at the junction of the road to Stithians, and a serious collision investigation unit was sent to the scene.
