A Perranwell farmer is due to face magistrates next month over charges of causing suffering to a Rottweiler which he shot and killed in April last year.
Phillip Warwick Pryor, aged 48, of Rosemerryn Perranwell Station, has pleaded not guilty to two charges – one of destroying Marcus Cole’s dog named Fizz, worth £3,000, on April 14, and another of causing the animal unnecessary harm.
The trial was adjourned to Truro Magistrates Court on February 17.
