Football stars of the future were congratulated in a special assembly held at Landewednack School this week.

Football coaches Jamie Thompson and Martyn Webster visited the school last week to present the "SupaStrikers" with certificates in recognition of their hard work and completion of the course for the Autumn term.

Medals were also awarded to Zoe, Matthew and Kian for their individual achievements on the pitch.

Jamie and his team of coaches attend the school and the adjoining Little Lizards Children’s Centre every other week where the children are taught skills and techniques such as dribbling, shooting, passing and ball control.

The Spring term of SupaStrikers is now underway.
