There are delays and difficulties on the roads this morning after heavy rain last night.

A large standing pool of water has formed on the road outside the rugby club in Falmouth on Chard Terrace.

On the A30 at Carland Cross eastbound between Mitchell Turn Off  and the Newquay turn off there is flooding, and problems due to an earlier accident and recovery work. There is very slow moving traffic eastbound approaching Carland Cross.

The A30 westbound between Carland Cross/Chiverton Cross there is slow moving traffic and between Chiverton Cross/Chybucca there's standing water.

The A390, Tregolls Road also had problems due to due to a collision involving a car and bus. The road was partially blocked and slow traffic is reported.

Standing water is reported on the road from Scorrier through St Day and Carharrack, with motorists advised to drive with care.

The Constantine to Falmouth road also has large patches of standing water.

A collision at the A30 at Blackwater has now been cleared and recovery work completed.

There is disruption to Skybus flights to/ from Isles of Scilly due to poor visibility.

All sailings of the St Mawes Passenger Ferry have been cancelled due to the weather conditions.
