Falmouth Bay Residents’ Association (FBRA) will be holding its annual general |meeting at the Membly Hall Hotel on Sunday afternoon when its guest speaker will be John Hick, chairman of Falmouth Tall Ships Association.

Also due to attend are Falmouth’s MP, Sarah Newton; Mayor, Geoffrey Evans; PC Andy Hocking and other town and county councillors.

It has been a successful year for FBRA with it gaining over 40 new members, taking its total membership to over 200 |households for the first time.

Following the usual reports and other formalities, the |audience will be invited to raise any issues of concern or interest pertinent to the association’s membership area. Finally, Mr Hick will report on |arrangements being made for the Tall Ships Regatta in August.

Admission to the AGM is free to all members, guests and prospective new members and complimentary refreshments will be provided. FBRA is seeking the best possible support and is hoping that numbers will exceed last year’s turnout of well over 100 members and guests.
