Cartel Photos, in collaboration with Number 20 Winebar, is hosting Capability, a joint exhibition by photographers Tom Pullen and Patrick Campbell.

Tom and Patrick are both final year BA(Hons) Press and Editorial Photography |students at Falmouth University.

Tom’s work is based on people coping with visual impairment. These portraits of the ‘Gweek visually impaired bowls champions’ are part of an on-going project which seeks to |represent the visually impaired who benefit from funding in Cornwall, highlighting the importance of the Cornwall Blind Association at a time of austerity and local government cuts.

Following the success of the largest Paralympic Games in 2012 and the second largest multisport event to have been hosted in the UK, Patrick explores the legacy that the event has had on disability Sport in the South West.

These portraits of Wheelchair Basketball players are a part of a larger body of work.

The work will be on show until the middle of February and is the start of a monthly programme of exhibitions showcasing the work of photography students at Falmouth.
