Helston summer 'roller rink' plan after skate success at Christmas
HELSTON’S first outdoor skating rink proved so successful at Christmas that it could be repeated in the summer – with roller skates.
The Winter Skate organising group of the Helston Business Improvement Partnership is in talks about the possibility of |recreating the rink at the Epworth Hall, for roller skating.
It is also hoped that this winter the skating rink could even return with real ice, depending on costs.
The group is providing a second activity, to give schools a full day of activities.
