Falmouth RNLI launched its lifeboats 85 times over the course of 2013, three more times than the previous year.
The crews helped 89 people while at sea for a total of 511 hours.
The all weather boat was launched 26 times and the inshore boat was launched 59 times, with 47 shouts taking place in the dark.
On seven beaches in the former Carrick area with RNLI lifeguards, the number of incidents attended increased by around 25 per cent from 1,444 in 2012 to 2,135 in 2013.
On Chapel Porth, Gyllynvase, Holywell, Perran Sands, Perranporth, Porthtowan, and St Agnes, 1,764 people were helped and 13 lives saved.
