A house collapsed in Camborne in the early hours of yesterday morning. Nearby residents reported a loud rumble at around 5am this morning.
There are reports that a large crack formed in the property on Tehidy Road yesterday and that Cormac were on site. The area is riddled with mine shafts, with one opening up in a garden next door years ago according to a neighbour.
Tehidy Road was closed both ways due to building masonry in the road between Reskadinnick Road and Vyvyan Street.
The road has been closed due to a collapsed building however properties on the road are still accessible.
