Police are appealing for information after a kayak worth almost £500 was stolen from Church Beach, Islington Wharf, Penryn, between January 22 and 26.

The 3-seater Bic Tobago sit on top kayak is about 17 feet long, blue on top and white underneath.

Police said: “A kayak was locked to a railing with a chain, and both the kayak and the chain were taken.

“The goods stolen were worth £494, including £30 for the chain.”

Anyone with information should contact the police on 101 quoting reference GP/14/151.
