Firefighters are asking people who light bonfires to let them know, after smoke set off fire alarms at the Royal Cornwall Hospital today.
Crews were called to a number of fire alarms being activated at Treliske just after noon.
A spokesman said: "The reason the alarms were activated were due to smoke from outside the property. If you are having a bonfire please call fire control on 01872320205 to let us know beforehand."
