The Watering Hole pub on Perranporth Beach was left perched on top of a mount of sand after recent storms, and as the latest batch of bad weather barrelled towards the coast, there were concerns it may not survive another battering.
The picture, tweeted out by pub staff, shows just how close it came.
While this one tweeted by Mike shows how it looked before the storms, and how after the high tides and huge waves the cliff of sand is edging ever closer.
