Sunday's service for Candlemass (the presentation of Christ in the Temple) was taken by the Rev John Fox. The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Esther Brown and the second lesson by Maureen Williams.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with Canon Malcolm Ellis as celebrant) and Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with the Rev Samuel Marsden as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
Many thanks to all who helped in any way at the end of season sale last week, a total of £105 was raised for church funds.
