The Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta 2014 is the |perfect opportunity to fulfil that New Year’s resolution and go on the adventure of a lifetime.

Seize the magnificent opportunity to take part in an exhilarating sail from Cornwall to London by becoming a member of the crew.

There are now 37 Tall Ships of all shapes and sizes signed up to this summer’s race, providing a variety of experiences to suit individuals of all ages.

All aspects of life on board the ship will be explored, you will learn how to set sails, steer a compass course, be part of a team and, if you are brave enough, climb the |rigging.

On top of the extraordinary skills you learn on board, there will be wonderful festivities in both ports, a cruise in company down the Thames and the race itself.

In total the activities encompass a ten day period. Already nine ships are fully booked, but there are still hundreds of places up for grabs.

The cost for a space on board a Tall Ship varies from £600 to £1,000, depending on the ship you sign up with. There are also opportunities to part-fund some spaces, with |bursaries available to those who are disadvantaged and have fundraised some of the cost themselves.
