Restraining order after Falmouth assault
A man has been given an eight weeks sentence, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to an assault in Falmouth on January 7.
On January 28, Truro magistrates sentenced Matthew John Burt, 33, of 2 Timber Close, St Ives, for assaulting Victoria Burt.
He was also given a 12 month drinking banning order and a restraining order forbidding him from going to an address in Longfield, Falmouth, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 in costs.
