Ponsanooth Post Office will move into a temporary home after flooding on Christmas Eve left the premises under a foot of water.

The Post Office on St Michaels Road was forced to close due to severe flooding at the premises on December 24, and will move to a new temporary building on Tuesday, March 13.

This will be sited at Park Road, Ponsanooth, just 20 metres from the normal branch.

Opening hours at the temporary new location will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday, 9am to 12.30pm.
