Picture of child released in search for identity of man after body washes up on Perranporth beach: UPDATE

UPDATE: Thursday, 3pm. Police asking for the public's help identifying the man who washed up dead on Perranporth Beach have released images of a shoe and a picture found in a jacket.
Officers would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have noticed a man fitting the description in the Perranporth area.
They would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the discovery of the man on the beach and who may have recorded the incident on their camera or mobile phone.
Officers have released images which they hope will help to identify the man. The first is of the exact shoe worn by the deceased.
Another is a photograph of a small boy which was found in a black wallet in the pocket of a dark navy-blue Regatta jacket.
The jacket was found on the beach on Wednesday, February 26 and may or may not have belonged to the deceased.
Anyone who may recognise the items is asked to contact the Police on 101, quoting reference GR/14/80.
The man is described as a white male, aged 50-70 years old, thin build, 5’5 – 5’7’’ tall.
He had white receeding hair which was bald on top, and a thick white bushy beard, the man was naked apart from wearing socks and one walking shoe.
Police are treating the death as unexplained. Anyone with information is requested to contact 101 quoting GR/14/80 or crimestoppers on 0800 555111

Police have confirmed that a man's body has been found on Perranporth Beach.
A spokesman said that the body was found near the Watering Hole bar, with an area of the beach cordoned off.
The body was discovered by a member of the public out walking their dog at around 2pm, with a number of people on the beach when it was found.
Falmouth Coastguard have been informed and an ambulance called.
Officer are carrying out inquiries into the man's identity.
