Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man from St Columb, near Newquay, and are appealing for the public’s help in finding him.

Christopher Porter, 48, was last seen at 7pm on Saturday, March 15 at his home address in the village.

He was wearing a green jacket, jeans and grey Van-style shoes.

Christopher is described as white, 5ft 8ins, of average build, and a pierced left ear. He has short mousey-brown hair with blond tips, a short beard and an Australian accent.

He is believed to have his car with him, a black Nissan Almera, registration DL04 MME.

PC Amanda Swain, one of the officers involved in the search, said: “We are appealing for anyone who sees Christopher to get in touch.

“Local dog walkers are asked to keep an eye out for him and his vehicle in remote country lanes.”

Anyone who sees Christopher or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 457 of 16 March
