The final decision lies with Cornwall Council.

If a bit of research was done the writer would have realised this won't be the first Japanese restaurant in Falmouth.

I thought there was one in 2007? 2009? if so, this would not be Falmouth's 'first' Japanese restaurant even if it is Falmouth's only Japanese restaurant!
Was the original one in Church Street?

I was upstairs opposite Club I I think. It then became a restaurant called Steps. It may have been called Tao or something like that.

Ah I now remember something across the road from the arcade, perhaps that was the one.
I look fwd to it as long as it's not a westernised version set up by a westerner.

That's it Gillian! They had a red curtain hanging in the doorway so you were forced to bow as you came in. I went there with the Karate group I was in after a grading day. The sake went down very well.
