Flat plan for 'redundant' Coinagehall Street store

Cornwall Council planners have approved plans to |convert a redundant store on Coinagehall Street into a home.

The application by Mr R Clotworthy asked for listed building consent for the |conversion into a single |residential unit at 14 Coinagehall Street.

The application proposes work to convert the first floor store to a one bedroom flat at the rear part of a listed |building which fronts an opeway leading from Coinagehall Street, Helston.

Helston Town Council had recommended refusal due to the “lack of information and clarity”.

Why would you want a shop in a first floor store room? there are plenty of empty shops in Helston if anyone wants one.
