Water on road at Sithney Common Hill raises concerns

Falmouth Packet: Water on road at Sithney Common Hill raises concerns Water on road at Sithney Common Hill raises concerns

Concerns over water running across the road at Sithney Common Hill were raised at the last meeting of Helston Town Council.

Councillor Ronnie Williams said the car wash in the lay-by often left water running down over the road.

“It’s not a problem until we get icy weather and then it freezes,” he said. If someone loses their life it’s too late.”

PC Anne Butcher, from Helston Police Station, agreed to look into it.

I hear that Tesco have applied for a hand car wash and valeting site , so if the chap has to move his business perhaps he should try to get a job there.

I would be more concerned with enforcing the 30mph speed limit on the hill, particularly those descending, as they are directly passing the entry/exit of the lay-by.

I never said he should surrender his trade and work for Tesco and my comment above explains what i meant. I am surprised that Tesco need another car wash site ,losing car parking spaces to install it.

Oh come on meerkats, we all make mistakes i know, but you blatantly said he should try and get a job there, that doesnt even resemble what you are now saying, what you meant was hope it doesnt affect the chap in the layby's business. At least stand by your own opinions. Just because others say something else.
It was a genuine mistake on my part and i do stand by my own opinions and am not swayed by others. Its up to you if you dont believe me .
